(Second Photo) This laundry space was literally a hole in the wall. Located in a hallway, it was finished with tile on the floor and walls and an attractive shelf was added for storage. A recessed area for the plumbing allows the appliances to fit tightly against the wall so they do not protrude into the hallway. The opening was finished with painted wood trim.
